Corporate Profile

Manitou Gold Inc. (“Manitou”) is a Canadian exploration company with a 148 km2 land package of highly prospective gold properties located in the historical Gold Rock District, in Northwestern Ontario (Dryden area).  This under-explored area has a very attractive geological setting hosting 61 known gold occurrences including three past producing mines (Big Master, Laurentian and Elora).  Until recently, the area has remained relatively untouched by modern-day exploration, pointing to excellent discovery potential over this large land package.

Manitou Gold, together with its consulting engineers and mining contractors, have performed a stage 1  bulk sample of the high-grade zone at the Kenwest property in November of 2017.  Results were released in February 2018.  At the time of this corporate update, the exploration team were performing a 1800 meter drill program. (updates released in February). Kenwest is characterized by a high grade zone off the Big Master #2 structure which was first discovered in 2011 when the Company intersected 53,700 g/t gold over 0.55 meters at a vertical depth from surface of only 35 meters in drill hole KW-11-26 (see Company’s press release dated February 28, 2011).

Manitou Gold, also has acquired a patented property located along the Goudreau-Lochalsh deformation shear zone.  This district of Northern Ontario is known for the current high producing Island Gold Mine (9.17g/t), owned by Alamos Gold which produces 100,000 oz Au/annually.  The areas historical mines count the Magino Gold Mine  (4.4g/t) 114,000 oz Au 1930-40, 1988-92, the Kremzar Mine (4.8g/t)  47,000 oz Au 1988-90, the Edwards Gold Mine (11g/t) 144,000 oz Au 1997-2002, Cline Lake Gold Mine (6.5g/t) 63,000 oz Au 1938-40, 1947-48.  Manitou Gold is currently working the property by performing IP testing and Magnetic. (results to be released in March 2018).

Manitou’s CEO, Richard Murphy, P.Geo. has a proven track record in exploration and discovery and is leading a highly skilled technical team, ensuring efficient, cost effective and systematic exploration on the Company’s projects.  The company is well financed to pursue aggressive exploration on the three priority properties.
